Allyn Van Patten of Syracuse, Onondaga Co., NY plays TAPS at
Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC for a fallen officer
of the 11SEP2001 (911) terrorist attack on the Pentagon (seen in
background).
Dr. Myndart Van Patten (1835-1931) (known as
Minard Van Patten).  Civil War: Co. F, 110th New York
Volunteer Infantry.  Wounded - released from duty in a
convalesant home in Virginia.
Silas (Cornelius) Van Patten (1840-1932); Civil War: Enlisted as a
Private on 26 August 1862 at the age of 22.
Enlisted in Company A, 134th Infantry Regiment New York on 22 Sep
1862.
Transferred out of Company A, 134th Infantry Regiment New York on
10 Jun 1865.
Transferred into Company C, 102nd Infantry Regiment New York on 10
Jun 1865.
Mustered Out Company C, 102nd Infantry Regiment New York on 21
Jul 1865 at Alexandria, VA.
