Pheobe Ruth Van Patten was the daughter of Samuel James and Sarah Ann
(Swatling) Van Patten. She was born 27AUG1919 in Rotterdam, Schenectady
County, New York. In 1935, she was married to George Redmond, son of
James Henry and Della (Hyatt) Redmond. He was born 21OCT1913 in
Schenectady, New York and he died in 1949 from a broken neck when his car
plunged into Mariaville Lake.
Pheobe later married Elygiusz Wdowinski who was born 01DEC1920 in Poland
and died 16JUN1990 in Schenectady, New York.
Pheobe was very emotional and in February 1966, she hung herself in the cellar
of her Dunnsville Rd. home in Rotterdam, New York.
