John & Odelia Van Patten
John Henry Van Patten was the second of five children born to Frederick and
Catherine (Saterland) Van Patten. He was born about 1855 in Menominee,
Wisconsin and died in 1940 in Yorba Linda, Orange County, California. On
18AUG1888, in Menominee, Michigan, he was married to Odelia Mary
Mullholand who was born about 1865 in Menominee, Michigan and died in
Yorba Linda, California.
John Henry Van Patten first moved to Seattle, Washington and then on to
California, finally settling in Yorba Linda, Orange County, California in 1909
where he started a ranch with orange and avacado trees. John was also a street
car conductor.
John and Odelia had two children.
