During the Civil War, Henry was a private
in Co. D (later transfered to Co. F), 23rd
MI Volunteer Infantry from DEC1863-1865.

During the late 1800's, they lived in
Brooksville, Hernando Co., FL.  When
Henry died in Michigan, his body was sent
by train, back down to Florida to rest
beside his beloved wife Rebecca.
